It's a strange quirk of Polynesians that they think a finger up the bum is an hilarious joke you play on friends.
I remember Jeremy Smith did it to Kalifa Faifai Loa in a game and got off when they both said they were cousins who shared a house together when they played at Saint George and it was just a friendly joke.
I don't think I'd take it that way.
