Mrs. B, you’re such a card, maths tricky for you For those who don’t know how it works, divide points gained by possible points and times by 100, ie FC are on 15 points, played 11 games equals possible 22 points, 15 divided by 22 equals 0.6818, times by 100 equals 68.18% Here endeth the lesson
I don't think at this moment we need to be thinking about league position, it's simply about winning games, we win games then everything comes from that. I'm more bothered about poor or sub par performances by the players or coaching decisions and injuries than where we are in the league, if we're doing well/winning, the league position sorts itself out. And as Leeds and others have proven, you don't need to be in the top 1 or 2 to win SL.
I boldy predicted us to be second this year, if we knuckle down and cut out the repeated mistakes, start to do the things better that we haven't and continue to improve on the good things we do then we can beat anyone. Getting some more senior players back such that the coach has a selection headache in a good way would be a help..

If you don't want to be thinking about league position just yet, then don't, but some do. It's not for you to say that they shouldn't be.

Erm, I don’t think Macca said we shouldn’t be thinking about league position, rather, it was his opinion that if we carry on winning, league status will look after itself. He’s only just got back, no need to needle him

I'm not telling anyone to do or think about anything, not sure how you managed to come to that, it's my opinion about how I see things. Agree or disagree, it doesn't matter, open forums are for offering opinions and discussion. If someone doesn't agree with you about something is it acceptable to just be so rude as you've been as a response, no it isn't, better is to offer up your opinion and to say, well actually i think this or agree with such and such a person and this is why.
Why is that so hard to do instead of just slagging people off for something they've never said!

Thanks for clearing that up, nice one. Just need those two results then. Fingers crossed.

Heady days, and only a couple of months ago. Nobody seemed to be blaming Radders back then with plenty lauding our new rookie Aussie coach. Things can go pear-shaped in sport pretty quickly.
