The club without doubt need to address the fans. It is important that they try to salvage from this and informing clubs supporters of their intentions must be a priority. What I am interested in is the way in which they communicate. If it is solely through the Official Supporters Group, As I am not a member, I will know that the club find my support surplus to requirements and I think I am done. Well done ML, We have only followed the club to 25 years.
The last 2 videos I've seen of the owner were 1. where he says Ealing is perfect and 2. When he basked in the glory of the Toronto win.
The harsh reality is that he will never admit he is wrong. NEVER. As such, He has killed the thing he tried to build.
Northern Bloke and others will come on here and say "without him we'd not have existed" but the reality is as a club we've not existed since about 2013.......he'd employed Gus, pi55ed off harlequins RU, spat his dummy, cost us our SL status by not sourcing a squad for 2014 until January 2014......all entirely of his own doing.
If he's refused to do as the RFL wanted in 2007/8 when IL bought Wigan, we'd still be at The Stoop, we'd still be in SL and we'd still have 4k fans, but he didn't....the narcissist in him got to own the club and he liked that so much he was never going to have anyone ever tell him how to run his club!
For 2 decades I've defended the club from Northern Fans citing imaginary payments and "special treatment". I've pointed out that they (mostly) play in hovels of stadiums or rented from soccer clubs, they've had 100+ years and attracting 6k is nowt to crow about and I've fiercely defended our right to play the game, but not any more. David Hughes has brought us to this point and I make no bones about pointing the finger of blame solely at him!
As for a "plan". There never was a plan. The Move to Wimbledon, like the reverting to the broncos name & the move to Barnet were designed to protect the wage thief at the club.....how the fark he ever got a job again in sports admin is a mystery, but he again didn't last long there.
So don't expect the CEO, Commercial Manager nor Club owner to give you the heads up, because there's no plan. The Academy is the only asset the club has and once we fold, the pathway will be lost to Union unless the RFL see the benefit and bankroll it. Surely a strong London pathway is more important than an extra yeard and a half on the oddslum pitch?

Sad news for London Broncos, hopefully my club Leigh Centurions will try and get him, but I doubt he would want to for this season, as it's a write off already.

Good to see we can agree on something finally! Until The RFL and Super League get their own house in order, I just can't see any support coming our way!
I have always rated the Huddersfield owner Ken Davey, who is overseeing the discussions with Super League & The RFL. In a long League Express interview yesterday, he hardly seemed to be able to answer one question fully, is that more a question about the state of the game itself? Ralph Rimmer has to go, We need someone strong at the top, if Super League and The RFL are going to join together once again.

Too many club owners are only interested in there own club!

There's the problem with the sport right there!
Clubs with 10k fans can cope.....what with the income from tickets and the SKY cash, they muddle along and it's little surprise that when you look at the table, the clubs with 10k fans GENERALLY occupy the top half.......even when Leeds were utter pants in 2018 they averaged close to 11k.....Salford finished 3rd and averaged under 4k....with Wire, Saints and Wigan on their doorstep they still didn't get a 6k gate. Well run clubs have a fanbase. Vanity projects Like Huddersfield, Salford and London don't and come the revolution (or the collapse of the game as a pro sport) clubs like us will be first up against the wall!
I'll never stop saying it. 10k fans and we'd have attracted interested parties willing to take the pressure of Hughes....but he doesn't play well with others!

Starting to circulate if Super League & The RFL are to unite again? from some Super League Clubs, Ralph must go, to be replaced by someone dynamic, but if we could ever find that person? would those clubs set him free to run the game?
