Not a chance. Like it or not, most would choose England in a World Cup Final (if we get there) over a league game against Huddersfield, especially fans who watch on TV.

And even more especially after the drubbings we are getting at the moment.

I reckon there'll be less than 4K on that day, which is probably around how many ST have been sold.

Season tickets is over 6k
However the reason tickets were made available to Wire fans is that some ST holders did not take up their offer of a seat (school night, work commitments, peed off with the team could be any reason).

I thought 6k plus STs was a pretty good effort given the uncertainty of the covid situation and not knowing if you were going to be able to see any games at all and considering you were definitely going to miss the first 2 or 3 dur to restrictions.

The big question is
After the fall in ST numbers from over 10k 8/9 years ago to around 8k 2 years ago, will the club be able to get back to the 8kish mark they were at before we even tqlk about getting back to the 10kish we should/could be at.

Agree that it may be a 4k attendance if England reach final.

Yip

We got about 5000 on a Wednesday night
If England rea h their first major final in 55 years there won't be a seat left in pubs, people will be having BBQs etc and fair play to em

Personally disagree! Plenty who aren’t interested or can take or leave football...as the HKR game proved. 5.5k who obviously had little interest in Engerlund!

For me I’d have stuck with 6.30. Would have given many something else to do while the football was on....as an option instead of watching football id have definitely gone...bang smack in the middle of the day I’m unsure.
Could have less on at 3pm than 6.30 imo
