After the disappointment of the Widnes defeat, time to dust ourselves off and prepare for another tough game against Batley.

We're having a brilliant season, be a shame if things started to fall apart. A win here and we go back up to third. Batley having a great year as well so it's another game where if we don't play well, we won't win.

Flanagan back will be a big boost. I think Doyle is back from isolating which is huge as I think he's just as important to this side as Brough. Those two will speed our attack up massively from the Widnes game.

We were poor against Widnes, but still could/should have come away with a win if we'd have taken those chances over the line.

What is going on with the pitch? There seems to be some confusion as to who is even responsible for sorting out now? What a mess.

It's another farce. Reflects poorly on the RFL and the club and the sport.

If I had a fiver I'd be putting it on Batley as things stand. Much depends on whether Keyes can provide some hint of creative spark right from the off, and what hooker option JK wants to go with. It won't be easy.

Won’t Doyle be available again this week?. Hopefully he retains his spot and flag an is used off bench ( if at all). Think addition of Doyle and Keyes will make a big difference to creativity which was so lacking last couple of games.

I'm not disagreeing about creativity but Kear and co need to do some work with the outside backs. Take Brough away they stand like a bunch of kids. 2 tries chalked off against Fev for forward passes and against Widnes, Oakes has dropped a sitter and Brown drops two as well. You wouldn't mind if they defended really well.
