As I said earlier, it is not only our club! clubs like Hull are in dire straights with finance! and things are not going to get better with the reduction in Sky fees from next season, will clubs not in Super League get a penny? it has been run badly for far too long, under Nigel Wood! and he got a recent MBE lol, and The RFL invested money in a big hole in the ground in Bradford lol

Latest! It's expected a decision will be made next week, if The World Cup will be cancelled, claim players may not be able to travel? Wonder how many tickets have been sold?

Cancelling it might be less embarrassing than trying to convince people a RL World Cup has any value.

2021 was chosen for the RLWC there was not much in the way of major sporting events to compete with. Covid came along and pushed all last years events into 2021, so by the time the RLWC comes along people will be suffering sports fatigue.
Whether on not it is postponed I would say, will depend on what the cost would be to do so.

No sign yet of aus and nz lifting quatentine rules on return. Neither team and associated support staff will want tp spend the time and money on return costs getting home, International travel is still too unpredictable to really make it viable gor them.
If it does get cancelled will be interesting to see if they still play a mini home nations tournament

Not sure what the point in that would be. Any tv exposure should be aimed at trying to increase the audience. A home national tournament is only likely to convince both public & broadcasters that RL is like a drowning person about to go down for the 3rd time.

Any non league fan who saw Bristol v Quins last week or Exeter v Quins yesterday then watched a SL game wouldn't bother with rugby league again I suspect.

Anyone find any positives on that first half?

The 2 tries in the last couple of minutes Swinton scored were pathetic. That sums up London’s level.

No doubt London’s fitness will end up beating a semi pro side with no win in 10

Mac out!

Well, a half when we seemed to be in control at times, but the bounce of the 4G pitch was on Swinton's side! to make it 18-18, I just don't know how Sammut is continuing to play, with a broken hand and pins in the hand? a slip from him, and then the bounce with Hodgson has allowed Swinton to draw level.

How Swinton are yet to win is beyond me, they have some players who give 110% Good to see Rhodri having a good game for them, we keep in touch.

Well for the second half we have the strong wind behind us, which Swinton really took advantage of! My pet hate after watching the Origin match is how slow our play the ball can be compared to down under, players lay on top of the tackled player, looking at the referee waiting for the referee to say something? it is down to referees to get the play the ball faster.

Ptb speed depends on the tackle on how quickly the ref expects movement. You also have to look at the level of the game, origin is not quite same level of championship in uk.
As a team london have never been good at winning the ruck in attack or defence.
Win the ruck wait for refs call or signal to move

Thought the opinion was to improve the english teams have to play more games
