The only way we will attract larger attendances is in Super League and a ground people feel at home in, people want modern facilities these days, have family tickets, at a good price, get them into feeling a part of the club, at Fulham it felt like that!

If the club had not driven most of the fans away, we would not have moved to Ealing in the first place. We might not have been a champ side either. A well managed club would ot find itself.in out position, that's the point.

No. It's a cast Iron fact and your response is a perfect example of 'fiddling while Rome Burns"

In 2007 & 8 we had a side watched by 4,000 fans. A side with Howell, Mclinden, Henry Paul, Tamata., Purdham, Orr and Scott Hill!

If the demise to the stage where we have 8% of that gate, in a second tier wedding venue isn't 100% the fault of David Hughes then who the farks fault is it?

Who employed Blanchard? Who employed Gus? Who promoted Powell to head coach? Who employed Joey Grima? Who swallowed the story that Kids thought RL meant Rugby Lessons so changed our name? Who shifted us from a purpose built Rugby Stadium to a 3rd tier soccer stadium and then a wedding venue?
£30,000,000 (probably more) and it's got to the stage now where he's surrounded himself with sycophantic "yes men" who applaud him whilst the club rots.

He's not cared a jot for the club. He's cared for his farking ego!

Talk about missing the point entirely!

When David Hughes took control of the club we were averaging over 4,000 fans per game. Now we're down to 300. That's quite an incredible collapse in support, and it didn't happen because we were relegated. There was a continual drip drip drip every year.

So a SL standard ground? Hmmm? Maybe like the Stoop? Or s that not modern enough for you?
Family tickets? Hmm...I recall 2 adults and 2 kids for a SL game was an option for £40 at most Quins RL games.....now it's £60 and a "deal" at a wedding venue in the 2nd tier....hmmmm..,and there was apple parking for families at Quins.
The last Xmas family gathering at the club I can recall was 2008.....since then there has been zero. Remind me again who had sole ownership of the club since 2008?
Hughes has been giving the club chemothrapy whilst buying it 60 fags a day....I'm done with anyone who makes excuses for the arrogant idiot.
We lost 25 players at the seasons end after he spat his dummy.....relegation was bolted on. His guilt money since then has just prolonged the agony.

You can all blame one person! But if he leaves, that's the end! The RFL would come running to our assistance.

They never did anything for the club prior to monkeys arrival.

Who cares about them? If you want to go to the games. Just go.

Rammo. Al and the rest of them are full of p and wind and pretty much ignored by most other supporters at the club.

Other clubs have crashed and come back. The only issue I have is that we actually had been on the way back, yes very slowly but season on season we was growing at Ealing, each season brought a few more fans, and the squad improved until we finally made it back to SL, and then almost survived and scared the pants off everybody. Look at Leigh right now, and if Fev go up this year, they also won't win a game next year either.

My issue is that I actially saw a future for the club again with how we progressed at Ealing, yes we needed to move from Ealing at some point, but now was not the time. Like it or not it was cheap, it was perfect for Championship RL, and rebuilding after covid and relegation would have taken the squad at least 2 seasons to get back into SL. Then you move at that point, you increase ST prices once we get promoted, but you keep them as is right now.

Increasing Ticket prices like they have done, while no money at all spend on Squad, is what has killed this for most people. I cannot believe we are paying less at PL then we are paying at Ealing, so to move to a stadium where the rent is higher when income is going to be less just makes no sense. Also you can't go part time paying the sort of rent we have to pay at PL

Nope it's £70. £20 for mum and dad each and £15 each for my 6 and 9 year old

I know because that's where we were all going last Sunday until I tried to buy the tickets. Saw the price rise and went myself only. Seems everyone did as there virtually no children at all unlike before

Final straw - I'm done and not going again unless there are serious changes to everything

Might even change my forum name!

Pay attention Northernbloke......apparently, I was wrong and as usual, your apologetic version was right?.......

The problem with Forum admins is they're damned if they do and damned if they don't. Because the repetitive message upset people and they collectively whined, the Mods shoot the messenger......by the time they realise the Message was on point, they'll never admit they made a mistake.

This Forum, like Total RL, was born from fanzines. As a fan of the London Broncos I was alarmed at how badly the game was run when I became a fan. On viewing forums like this, I noticed that there was a weird need to slag of union? As a fan of both sports and not a factory/pitworker in 1890, I found this bizare...so started to compare the games fortune, the marketing, the growth decline and forecasted the eventual outcome....and guess what? The Superleague is now on special offer with SKY and the Broncos are about to vanish up their own 'arris.....

...so don't change your name. Be proud to be a Bedfordshire Bronco fan and remember the good times, but never EVER let the establishment (that's the RFL fanzine guys from 25 years ago who defended the minority and the ones who now ban people for realists and anti THEIR ESTABLISHMENT)....they know where they can stick the red flag now theyve got the foreman job at last 8)
