Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Side good enough to beat Leigh, so no excuses.
Cant afford anymore injuries though, doesnt look any players back for a few weeks, so maybe need to look at loan signings, easier said than done though.
He didn't even promote any Academy lads to fill the squad out. I'm surprised by that. Odgo has talked in the past about what good experience it is to be in the squad even though you know you won't play. Maybe having 3 green teenagers on the captain's run would be distracting. Or it's a cap thing?

or maybe a sly way of telling the rfl we dont have enough fit players for meaningless all stars game next week, along with our own fixture v hudds......throwing 2 or 3 younger untested academy lads in could do more harm than good

This is a big worry though next week, for what is now a ridiculous fixture, when scheduled at the same time as regular league fixtures.
No doubt they’ll come calling for 2-3 of our pack. Definitely Satae, probably Sao and Ma’u too.
I know the season is shorter this season with Covid, but this fixture really needed scheduling on its own date or not at all.
As someone else mentioned, with Covid in a few clubs now, how is the fixture going to work? Are Leeds going to release 2-3 players from their Covid infected bubble to play in this fixture? It could just end up being a Super Spreader Event! Just what the League needs right now.
