Don't want to jinx it, although I probably have, and it's early days but, are we starting to look half decent?

You've done it now, this is a classic MGS set up by Rovers.

I will, as ever, also fall for it as will all the other Rovers fans at the event I'll be attending later.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

We look okay - better than that against teams at the bottom, tbh. A tough run of fixtures coming up, but I feel like (although we won’t always) we can now hope to challenge nearly every team in the league in a single game. Which is a huge step forward from wondering whether it’d be a frustrating, narrow defeat, a heavy beating or an outright humiliation.

I don’t want to jinx it either, but I think we have already turned the corner onto notdreadful street. it kinda looks sustainable too.

According to the club website, it is Wigan, Saints, Hull, Catalans in Perpignan, Warrington and Saints again.

Although we get Leigh as a loop fixture, Catalans and Saints as the others isn’t exactly favourable. Although Saints might be a bit tired after Wembley… perhaps.

Wakefield get the 2 free points against Saints infants the week before the final, but I don’t think we need to worry too much about that this year. Touch wood.

Whatever position we finish, I am more than happy with the style we have played this season, apart from Wakey away Rovers have provided value for money rugby, entertaining stuff, exciting rugby and am proud the way we have carried ourselves so far this season.
Before a ball was kicked this season my personal aim was to simply finish above Leigh and maybe win 4-5 games. So for me it has been a good season so far!
I no longer watch Rovers thinking I hope we don't get spanked to thinking we have a decent chance of winning

Leigh is not a loop fixture but we do play them at the magic weekend. There are only 2 loop fixtures and they were played in rounds 1 & 2 against Catalans and St Helens.

I couldn't hear the robin sing if not for you.

Thing are looking good, But I think next year will be better, as the younger players will fill out into reliable squad members or better. It will all depend on the retention & timely replacement of the likes of SKD, Hall, Takarangi, Simms etc. It has been good management to get good professional overseas additions to the club. We are still vulnerable to the so called bigger clubs enticing our best away unless we at least show signs of being able to win trophies. But I’m a very happy supporter at the moment.

Didn't think you would go down tbf . To many good players. But didn't think you would be doing so well. Gonna be an interesting Derby
