Absolute tosh. If you want to apply context, then players making a stand against racism has nothing to do with political or terrorist group. Some of those players have suffered from racial prejudice, one being very recent from a supposed friend and team mate.

Absolute codswallop. Racism works both ways and this taking the knee rubbish has caused more division than owt I can recall. Once again, I go to sporting events to watch sport, not be subjected other people's beliefs.

Like I said in answer to your original post. Go speak to those players and get their take on it. I've witnessed many racial comments and chants at games over the years, but none aimed at white players....strange that!! Your attitude to this is more reason for the players to keep doing this!

As has already been said to you...RL players tend to be quite accessible, so after the next game why not go up to the black players in your team and ask them if you've got it right and if in fact the gesture they are making is in support of a terrorist group?

Because they will have the personal experience of the thing they are protesting against, and you might get some very clear and firm reactions to your suggestion that they're doing it to support a terrorist group. But hey, you're right, ask the other players too.

So when was the last time you heard racial chanting or comments aimed at white players? And are you now going to claim you've never heard them aimed at black payers?
