Another brilliant performance from the Bulls. In total control throughout the game with some great game management to see us home. It makes such a huge difference having someone like Brough marshalling the team around the pitch. I also felt that we managed the sweltering conditions well and forced York to play out from their own 10 metre line time and time again. Finally, we looked fit as a butchers dog in that heat. A stark contrast to the puddings that we saw earlier in the season.

Great to be back at the iconic 'Wembley of the North'.

I can't believe the lethargy of Feath in the cup and the Sheffield trouncing has given way to this. Staggering turn around in the way we gel, our fitness levels, and our desire.

Absolutely brilliant game and occasion, we did look really fit and up for it. York to me were blowing out of their backsides. We could have scored a lot more on a full width pitch !!!!

"Kear out" said quite a lot of regular posters after the Sheffield game. I raised this a few weeks ago. 1 brave brave person was man enough to come out and say he was wrong in calling for Kears head.

Now we are 6 unbeaten im giving the other Kear bashers the chance to hold their hand up and admit they were wrong.

Brown deserves a mention.

Played very well and although he got himself on the scoresheet, his chase back and try saving tackle was the play of the game for me.

Game was in the balance at that point and he bust a gut to get back and force the knock on.

I’ve mentioned Joe Brown in the Brough thread. He’s one of our most improved players this year. He’s having a great season so far.

I was one of the people bagging Brown after the Featherstone and Sheffield defeats as I thought he was bloody poor. However I was wrong to say he was crap. As he has proven, he’s been class ever since. Certainly one of our better performers.

I think Brown and a few others needed to catch up with players at other clubs on fitness and game sharpness. Once we were allowed to train properly and got some form together he's really come on.

I was impressed with his pace yesterday particularly the cover tackle to prevent Keiron Dixon scoring.

Yeah I was one of those after the Sheffield game who thought that could be curtains for him, despite me really rating him and probably needed to be put out on loan somewhere to get some confidence. Don't think he was helped with him playing 4 different positions for us in the few games he's been here, including the "none position" he was used for in the Sheffield game.

Was a brave call by Kear to stick by him for the Fax game and he hasn't looked back since being able to get a run of games in one position.

That Dixon tackle was a game winner for me, despite being early on. You saw us completely lift as a team after that, while Yorks heads seem to go down.

That's because they expect Dixon to score if he gets into the clear. And that's because he usually does, as he is definitely a bit quick. Superb from Brown and my moment of the game, tbh.
