Last season we nearly beat you (as a championship side) in the challenge cup. But unfortunately I can't see anything other than a defeat for us by 20+ points. Our pack is full of 2nd row forwards, no big lads. Obviously I'm hoping we can pull of a surprise win, but I very much doubt it.

We remember some of those backrowers you mention.
We have become familiar with many are varied types of defeat in recent years. You’re on a bad run, so I don’t expect sympathy, but this one has the potential to go in the ‘oooh, we’re favourites in front of our own fans with a chance to take a important step away from the relegation dogfight... oh.’ category.
Each game is its own thing, but given our previous, these always feel like a bit of a litmus test for a change in mindset and mental strength for Rovers, to the fans at least, which unfortunately increases the pressure even more.

Don't get the negativity and the Wakey result today puts last week into perspective.
We've now won more games than in the whole of last year and are 6th in the table. We've won 4 just the same as Hull.
We are not going to threaten the top teams of course not but we could be even higher if rounds 1 & 2 extra/loop games had not been against Catalans and St Helens.
There will be some disappointing defeats along the way no doubt but I'll stick to my original prediction that Rovers will finish no lower than 9th which would represent significant improvement.

Good result and some nice tries, looking at the highlights. There’ll always be injuries, and I appreciate teams we’ve played have been missing props too, but I hope we get to see how we go with all of ours available.
Maybe, I hope, this result is a sign that I can start to contemplate letting go some the hang-ups born of 2016 and 2019 defeat from the jaws of victory memories. Still not completely over dog poo point against Catalans this year, mind you. Had a big sulk about that one.
I feel for the lads who have swapped our 2020 struggles for Leigh’s this year. That’s got to be hard, been outgunned week in and week out.

Good win, just the tonic fans need. Bet there are few coaches scratching their heads after this week's rounds, has any round seen so many blow out scores, just glad we produced one of them.

Hey Budge, the result will be our largest this season so please allow us to call it a "blow out"! Leigh are a strange team from what I've seen, can play some lovely stuff, at times troubled us and can score some points. It looked like your heads dropped after we went 2 scores up, you have some really good players, with a few back will win 2 or 3 games. Never rated Duffy as much as people do. Talks the talk but is not a S.L coach. Go get Briers or Long and you will do fine
