Watched the Leeds v Wakey game, plenty of Brad Fash cannonballs went unpunished or undetected, Priors high shot late on nearly decapitated a Wakey player, and I felt so sorry for Chester at the end, you could see the guys suffering in an uncomfortable interview at the end.
Heartbreaking drama, our game is so cruel sometimes.

Balls to Chester.
I remember when he was a Sky Sports studio guest for a derby last year and when asked for a prediction he said "My head says Hull FC but my heart says Rovers."

Hate the questions Jenna Brooks asks in the post match interviews. His team have just been denied their first win of the season in golden point and she's basically asking him if he thinks he going to be sacked soon. All she ever does is try to generate some drama or try to provoke coaches into saying something negative about the refs.

She's hopeless so fits in well with most of her Sky male compatriots. Got me nearly craving for the halcyon days of Angela Powers, but not quite.

Agree I felt for him at the end and they did fair well with the officials early on, I thought Hicks must have been given a new whistle as that you heard the first 25 mins. That said Wakey if they’d kept some composure they’d have won quite easily as Leeds are & were awful. Amazes me how so many had Leeds down as a top 4 side.
The other thing I noticed was just how ineffective Chris Green is, for a guy that’s 6’5 he runs the ball in softer than a roll of Andrex. Westerman & Pitt’s I thought were the standouts.
Finally I hope the controversial way the game finished means the RFL will now get rid of the ‘ball steal’ as it’s just a lottery and spoiling the game.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I remember him being a cup winner for Hull v Leeds in 2005.
And being the record breaking cup final coach for rovers v. Leeds at Wembley, as they used to say on Dads army “don’t mention the score”
But I kind of get what you mean, even pre game he bemoaned how Wakey should have had a red card in their loss against us a few weeks ago.
But he was close to being broken last night, and it must of been so difficult to face the cameras anyway, without the probing, heartbreaking admissions, the Sky presenter was trying extract.

As I said ours can be such a cruel game.
I thought he looked more than just close to broken. He seemed to be emotionally and mentally gone especially when told about the support from Joe Westermans interview.

Big round this, and a game almost in a must win category if we want to compete this year. Wire will very likely beat Huddersfield, and expect Rovers to coast past a Cas side missing all its key players, so could be a fair bit of movement tomorrow.

Don’t get me wrong I love Houghton, but he can’t go on forever, and his replacement should be grasping his opportunities now.
i think he is grasping his opportunities ? joe caitor seems to want that job and the armband that goes with it long term ? he does play 9 i believe
