Yes, a perfect opportunity for Connor.
He’s had some promising games before for us, just had that nightmare against Wigan in the Cup last year. Dropped his first catch and then got peppered all game.
He’ll get targeted from the start by Wigan, but we have a week to work on that in training. No reason why he can’t come in and do a job for us. He’s capable of getting us a try, he ran a beauty in against Rovers a couple of seasons back.
He may not have Jake’s X factor in attack and putting players in, but if he comes in and does a job for us, then we have a few others on the park who can still get us a result.

Totally agree ref Connor Wynne, a massive opportunity to shine in front of his new Coach. He will be put under tremendous pressure by the Wigan kicking game, especially with the weather forecast for next Saturday, rain all day!

I'm surprised no one has suggested BH foresaw Connor's likely suspension, so arranged Wynne a couple of matches out on loan in preparation for the cup game.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Not surprised in the slightest that Connor has received a ban, though I don't agree and think its harsh, I hope that the RFL for once will be consistent and any future high tackles similar to Connors are treated in the same way with a yellow and 1 game ban as a minimum. Sadly I just don't see this as being the case as they haven't done so yet.
What is more annoying to me is the fact that yet again a club like Wigan seem to get away with something other clubs including our own have had players banned for in which I refer to the late shoulder charge by Havant on Sao I think it was. That offence is no different in any of the others that have seen players banned, yet for some reason Havant gets away with a caution.
A for Fash thats one I just didnt see nor did anyone else by the sounds of it so you have to seriously question the disciplinary panel and process which still is shrouded in doubt.
Its going to be a hard task to beat a Wigan side with the upper hand and us being depleted already with injuries and now losing two more players to bans. So no question but Wynne has to be given the chance at FB.
Still not over as still a slim chance of turning in a performance to win the tie however our discipline is going to have to squeaky clean.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Our discipline has been a problem in the last three matches I am surprised the coach has not done something about it.

Fonua is built like a front row and we have cover in the centre and wing

Do grown Men/Women seriously believe the governing body is bias and would cheat to rather a different team went though? Genuinely ?
I’m all for discussing consistency of the disciplinary, question some calls the ref makes (they make errors like players do) etc
But thinking a referee wants a certain team to win or RFL want certain teams to progress is embarrassing imo.
Think you guys will need Mau and particularly JR back but you’re a lot more resilient than the last few years. You’ll be highly motivated after last weeks antics. Think you’re a chance still. Wigan’s attack still isn’t great at all and the young pack can have off days (Leeds semi final last year).
