In the current climate of social media boycotts and what is happening in football, for a game so committed to all things equality and to stamping out discrimination its a typical RFL fudge. If anyone doubts our administration inability to run the game this has to be it. Bradford Bulls player George Flannigan was hit with a 10 game ban for a Grade F offense. So according to the RFL, a hit to the balls is worse than racist abuse. They'll claim it was an independent tribunal etc. but to send out the right message it had to be a strong stance if he was guilty, which obviously they deemed he was. With this coming just an hour after we hear that Wakefield Trinity staff have been receiving death threats call me old fashioned but I'm very disappointed with our game at present I'm afraid.
