Scarlet Pimpernell wrote:He was actually made head of the CPS after the initial Saville investigation. The decision not to prosecute was taken by the Police and local CPS representatives and had nothing to do with Starmer. It was in fact Starmer who set up the enquiry into the failures which traced where the mistakes had been made. It was initially decided that Saville was too close to the Police and his celebrity status allowed him too much protection
The reason Starmer apologised was because he was in charge at the time the report was concluded like Johnson did regarding the way non U.K. dead were treated or do you consider Johnson to blame for that.
If you are going to make stupid comments you had better do your homework instead of being blinkered trying to blame Starmer regardless of the truth.

Kier starmer! That was it. He was made head of CPS in 2008 and the decision not to prosecute was made in 2009 so yes, he was the head.

Not like a Labour supporter to lie lmao

So Starmer is M, who would have known. He didn’t approve the killing did he, what he did was decide not to prosecute the officers involved. This is slightly different but like you hero Johnson why let the truth spoil a rubbish post.
I would suggest you do more homework and comeback when you have evidence that Starmer was at fault when it was stated at the time the decision was not his or do we blame Johnson like I said because both situations are correct, they were in charge so it was for them to apologise. It does not automatically mean guilt just an acceptance that a wrong had been committed.

Sorry. My bad. It was the Labour leader who decided not to prosecute anyone for murdering an innocent man.

My bad

The brain dead cesspittery of these morons who have attached themselves to the Tory party and their football supporter style political support are a constant reminder why I can't ever imagine being able to vote for the party again.

It's all about identity politics with them.

And I forgot to add. The 3 thousand or so uk residents who support Labour actually want this guy to be prime minister.

Lmao ok

Lmao. It was Labour who invited “football supporting style political support” to Downing Street back in the day to look cool. Aka Noel Gallagher for one.

Jesus Labour supporter are proper thick lmao. They have no idea what they are talking about lmao. Which is why you have no chance of winning an election. Ever.

Tell me how many officers have been prosecuted over the years, just in case Starmer was the only one who didn’t. I would also point out and I don’t know why I am but being the head of the CPS does not mean you decide on the merits of every prosecution. I doubt anyone arrested for shoplifting would have their case referred to the head of the CPS to decide if to prosecute. I suppose with your superior brain you knew Saville was a paedophile in 2009.

Why are you using "you"? I've voted Tory three times as often as Labour in my life and am a member of another party entirely. But the levels of toxic idiocy people like you bring to this are tainting the party almost irreparably for intelligent people and younger voters.
