Even you should see we have nothing coming from half back. Its fine giving a young inexperienced half the odd game but we have Wakefield and Wigan twice coming up and we need to see more attacking play from six.

Can you not see what all this chopping and changing has done to us the last 3 seasons ?

What I saw was a young kid get given a chance with some big boots to fill and whilst he didn't set the world on fire he didn't let anyone down either. Every has this obsession with that we need to score 50 points a game , you don't because if your defence is good enough you always have a chance. BM will grow in stature slowly but surely and if he isn't gonna get given a chance why are we paying him.

That would top even last season’s mad Championship rule for Golden Point games.

There’s a part of me that thinks ‘that has got to be a mistake’. But there’s another part of me that wouldn’t put it past them!

Dont get we wrong i am all for giving young players a chance but the decision has to balanced.
As you say Ben will slowly grow in stature but playing him whilst Reynolds is out could be at the expense of winning some important games coming up.
Little point in giving him another chance against Wakefield and then changing it for Wigan so i expect to see a change at half back next week .
A little more experience and stronger running of the ball at six makes a big difference giving the opposition defence a lot more to think about.
Its obvious from the Fev game and today.

On paper, you might have expected Austin and Widdop to run rings round Sneyd and McNamara, but I can't remember that happening.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

It won't change, Hodgson luckily sees the bigger picture.

Point lost but we’d have lost game that last season.
We’re still a work in progress, but you can see big improvements in our defence.

We have to stick with BM while Reynolds is missing. Keep players in their usual positions, and give him some experience.

Good to see Lane and Cator maintaining their progress. Some lovely lines from Lane today.

Agree with that. Have never liked this Golden Point business, on most occasions a draw is a fair result and today felt like a game where both sides were misfiring in attack and wasn't an edge of the seat thriller. The hooter going and a point each should have been the ending, not creating fake drama.
