With Flanagan stupidity recently and now Featherstone deciding to press the self destruct button, sometimes I despair at this sport. We're reasonably lucky to still be playing at our level, clubs have received government funding/loans/bailouts, and eve of the season Fev decide to go and behave like utter tools. The seriousness of this should not be underestimated. The government could easily pull the plug on semi-professional RL. Another year in the wilderness could finish many teams off for good.
Then theirs Batley who could have to postpone through no fault of thier own.

I hope the RFL come down hard on this. If the game has to be postponed Friday then Batley should be awarded the win at the minimum.

The whitewash has already started. They can only identify one player so they’ll ban him for 10 days and remind all the clubs of the COVID rules. If one person from outside the bubble was in that room it’s no longer sterile. This then compromises Batley on Friday.

At the very least they should be made to forfeit the fixture with the points awarded to Batley. This is a joke.
