Hopefully this will be a better game. We should have too much for Featherstone and it would be nice to get into the Quarter Finals, especially with one of Saints or Leeds out of the way.
I think you’ll find it was a very early challenge. About two seconds before the ball arrived.
Indeed, I seem to remember it was that early Taulapapa took Shaul out that the ball landed on the grounded after Shaul. Mickey Mouse was shocking as the official in that game and to say to Danny Houghton it was just a mistimed tackle was a joke.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I took my youngest to this cup tie, I remember saying at the time, a lot of games were like this before super league, he probably wondered why people kept going. Hopefully as others have said, a new coaching set up at Fev now in place, we shall see some fairer rugby played.

I think that's probably why people kept going for a bit of biff in a game, I know that's a part of the game I enjoyed the physicality. I think on the day there was nothing wrong with Featherstone playing a physical approach and trying to dominate us, unfortunately they just took it a little too far not helped by a very weak ref at the time who lost control.

I think if we want to watch the new Fev v Hull game in the cup, it’s on our league app, but all have to pay, members or not. Proceeds shared between both clubs, not official yet though.

You never know, The Shamallams might just allow us to play at KC, if we beat Fev and chosen as part of a double header. Saints had home advantage today
