It would be fairer anyway, why should we just because we are the only team professional have had to travel? clubs semi pro travelled to Toronto in the Championship! Still trying to come around from the boring Sky coverage last night, did not get into either game, was reading this morning how referees are cutting back on penalties? if a team does wrong they should be penalised. If I hear the Saints fans sfx again it will send me crazy.
Obvious difference for the semi pro teams is the quarntine issue, so travel to toronto to play previously not quite the same.. The six again rule is the attempt to cut back on penalties, other offences nothing has changed, still get penalised if you offend, there were a few offsides last night, which is different to NRL rules. 6 again should only be given if it would previously have been a penalty. Sky coverage aside, thought 2 pretty decent games of rugby league considering it was first game in such a long time.
Some might not like some of the new rules but its the closest the game has been to having same rules north and southern hemisphere. Its a crazy situation in a sport where you have 3 different rule books

Just shows how badly run the game is then doesn't it?
So who would you put the blame on? RFL? NRL RL int fed? Reality is international game historically had been closer to the RFL law book than NRL. Changes lately have been driven by the Aus game though. Personally i dont like the restart positioning rule, scrum/restart where offence is or on 20mtr in my mind better. Interstingly aus pundits were not happy with ptb restart after ball going in touch. 6 again rule has changed the speed and dynamic of the game. But hey it is what it is
