When last season the club got round to sorting out the refund situation season ticket for season 2020. Which was late summer/early autumn. We offered to give up half our money and have the balance as a credit for season 2021. We we're told that it was not possible for reasons which we would be made aware of later. Now it is obvious that that reason, was the move to Wimbledon. With the start to the season just a week away. Where are we with regards to knowing where the club will play. Nowhere. We have bought season tickets, with games to be played somewhere within the Greater London area.probably, but not definitely. With hindsight, the move should have been arranged for next season. Yet again the club have got itself into a giant muddle. Fans are being alienated daily. It is so frustrating!

I get Ealing isn't SL standard and we have a desire to get there. Why didn't we stay at Ealing for one season longer and negotiate a new ground in the background for next season? Home advantage for this season is now lost, plus a number of fans it seems. Bizarre.
Wire -quin, I could not agree more. I have bought a Membership to watch The London Broncos. Yet I have no idea in what part of London that will be. It is bizarre !!!!!!!!!!!

Given the pandemic, any right minded business would be looking to normalise its operations as soon as possible to generate revenue. Things are uncertain enough given we don't know when fans will be allowed to return but to throw a ground change (that isn't even a done deal) into the mix seems rather daft. What we do know for sure is that previous ground moves have lost fans. Were we at the end of a contract with Trailfinders ? Since we are not in SL this year we surely didn't need a SL ground.
I believe the contract at Ealing expired at the end of the 2020 season so would have needed renegotiation if we stayed.
There have also been - unsourced - mutterings on line Ealing wanted a hefty price rise if we stayed however; given the lack of clarity around this process, who knows?

Don't think that's too far off the mark. Ealing look as though they are going to push hard for promotion with a deal to play in the Premiership at QPR if successful it seems, so would be looking to maximise income in this way.
Only rumour and cant confirm, but have info that club are in talks with RFL to get approval to use AN other ground in the event of further wimbledon delays or god forbid a no vote

The club had said they have other options to play games so surprised if this hasn't happened some time ago given season is due to start !!
