1st full contact pre-season friendly announced. Panthers to play Oldham RLFC on March 13th at Bower Fold. The match is being streamed on OurLeague live. Can't wait, it's been a long year.

No Greg Worthington, shame I'd of liked to see how he went with Nick Rawsthorne
1. Scott Grix 2. Nick Rawsthorne 4. James Woodburn-Hall 5. James Saltonstall 6. Liam Harris 7. Connor Robinson 8. Elliot Morris 9. Brandon Moore (c) 10. Daniel Murray 11. Matt Garside 12. Ed Barber 13. Jacob Fairbank 14. Kevin Larroyer 15. Gadwin Springer 16. Will Calcott 18. Connor Davies 19. Conor McGrath 20. Curtis Davies 21. Zack McComb 22. Amir Bourouh 24. Ben Tibbs
Watching out for a few things. Gadwin’s aggression and offload with some second phase as a result. The two new half’s. Nicks class and threat. Brandon and Amir dummy half runs. Zack, as not seem much of him but certain he will be up for it.
Not a bad first hit out and good to see some rugby again.
Standouts for me were Calcott, I thought he went well and will be interesting to see if Grix gives him a shot. Our half backs went pretty well and you can tell they have played together which makes a hell of a difference. Springer looks beastly, he has the potential to rip up this league. I thought Barber had a good game. Bourough can hit thats for certain. Grix has to find a spot for JWH, he has too much class to leave out. Obviously it won't be at full back so its going to have to be at centre so will mean Mcgrath missing out.
Other than Calcott and Woody I think the rest of the team likely picks itself for next week.

Thought Zach McComb and Matt Garside both had good games too. It would be a shame to leave Conor McGrath out as he went well yesterday. One thing that did stand out is that the team actually look fit and we definitely do have some strength in depth this year.
Though the Rugby League coverage was OK too, not bad for a fiver.
