A question folks !.....Seeing as we are (hopefully) going to a new stadium....and that to attract new fans as well as keeping hold of us existing ones....How much do you think DH would have to dig deep for in order for us to have a real crack at Super League ??..A winning team is surely the only way that will improve our gates...
You can take the boy out of the Bush...But you can,t take the Bush out of the boy!!!
Maybe look at TWP players wage bill (when they were being paid) for the answer to that question. Take out money bill williams contract cost. But reckon thats the sort of squad and spend you need
Back to the same old discussion. If David decided to get out of the hot seat, as demonstrated last time he atepped back, there are not a lot of folk out there who have the willingness to pour there money into the black hole that is this level of sport. I would say investment but the reality like the majority of pro sports clubs its spending not investing as there is not going to be any profit. Look around the sport in this country, virtually every club relies on a RL fan with deep pockets to survive. Would love to see another D hughes, or Ian Lenegan pop up and start spending his or her money on the club and let David stand aside.

WQ you choose to read selectivly. What i said was. Quote: i dont think! That is an opinion not a statement of fact. The bloke has retired from his business that he ran previously. From that most folk would probably summise that his personal wealth figure has likely changed. Agree that we have no clue who might be interested in taking the mantle, but if you look at recent history, last time DH stepped back, the club were within days of disapearing with no new owner jumping in to take the helm! In the current world i cannot see many folk who would be in a position to jump into spending millions each year for no return.
