I don't even think this is true. There are lots saying they're downgrading from season tickets to the odd game or two, and some (like my old man) who've had enough and are calling it quits.
I would say Monkey Boy has been employed to raise revenue, Now that is fine. And greater income for the club can only be a good thing. His efforts should be to grow the fan base, not squeeze the current fans until they squeak. Fans numbers will drop and once lost, they will be lost for good. In 1996 at Charlton, Broncos had crowds of over 6000, as we moved about the numbers have declined. We always pick up a few fans but always lose more than we gain. We are down to a core of what, 500 fans. Can the club afford for a lump of those fans, who have stuck with the club through thick and thin, to walk away. I think not.

Those days at Charlton were really good and memorable, just ahead of the day at The Stoop!
Many Clubs are going to struggle this year with finance! and coming seasons are not looking good with the current Sky negotiations, how do you increase income?

We do seem to go about things in a half arsed way....I know these are the most unusual of times but a considerable price hike , yet another ground move and what appears at present to be a much weaker team seems a strange way to lure in new and current supporters....
You can take the boy out of the Bush...But you can,t take the Bush out of the boy!!!
20 seasona in SL average london btoncos crowd think it was just short of 3700. Think in total there have been 21 different teams in SL, Broncos were 20th on the list for average crowd numbers.
