5 weeks to go, if he out then we go with Bowden, Sao, Satae and Brown.

Still leaves Fash and Masi.

I dont see many other SL clubs with better props (squad wise) than us.

Good article in the HDM for once, looking at squads particularly number 18 plus, I know the 1-17 arent always the first choice but it shows the depth of some squads. Looking at the squads of the 3 favourites Saints, Wigan and Wigan I dont think our squad is too far off, they IMO have better 17's than us though.

I hope we’re not changing number 18.

I think this shows that all teams are having to put their faith in youth. We often see on here about how we are lacking in depth or need another proven player here or there, but in reality once you get into squad number 20+ no one really has much proven quality. We just need to show faith in our kids that they can mix it with the youngsters from Saints, Wigan etc.

I guess having lost Jones Ellis, Naulago and Kelly and with Shaul out for most of the season just bringing in Reynolds does weaken the squad as far as Super league experience is concerned and we are sort of 4 really experienced men down there. We have to hope that some of our untried youth comes good, that Matongo improves a lot and that we avoid any injury crisis' in a pretty hectic looking season.

Rumour is we've got York in our only trial match.

Big drop off in metres made when we have to rely on Fash and Matongo, hopefully we're lucky with injurys as we used Ellis a hell of a lot despite his age.

I think we're still one short in the pack. Reasons given above

Hopefully Ben can continue his progression, only just turned 19.

Just 4 and a bit weeks to go until the season starts, 5 weeks today our first game. Good news on the vaccine rollout hopefully brings us closer to getting back in to watch games. Feel quite emotional at the prospect.
