I have been told that some clubs. London Broncos may be amongst them, who knows ? Will not be selling season tickets, Simply selling tickets for individual games as they come up and as fans attendance is allowed. With the absolute uncertainty of when and how many fans will be allowed to attend matches. . Also the consideration that a new strain of Covid might come in later and throw the season into turmoil. You have to add the Wimbledon move into the mix. It might be quite prudent for the club to do this. In addition they could run promotions without alienating ST holders. We shall have to see what occurs.
Not sure at £4.95 per match clubs will make much out of it. Still i suppose anything is better than nothing. Unless of course Rimmer & his bunch of Boy Wonders expect people to sign up in their tens of thousands!!
Would be interested to know how the revenue is going to be distributed before i part with my dosh.
Selling or trying to sell season tickets for this season would be madness and pointless. If and when crowds get back in, then introduce a group purchase might be an option, but only when some sort of normallity is assured. If wimbledon comes off it could be in our favour, a larger stadium with the number of fans we can expect would be easier to keep distanced
Why is it nonsense,? Any pay per view live event on sky is cheaper if you commit to it early. Early bird tickets for live game are not unusual. They have these things called seasin tickets, which game for game are cheaper than paying on the day. Plus it means they have your money irrelevant of you actually tuning in. Nothing unusual about it
