Nice to keep chipping away with points. Nice to be so high up, that relegation is almost off the cards. I think talk of Europe is premature but a top half finish is a realistic aim
Our style makes teams look poor. It's like Bamford's pressing for the 2nd goal. He puts Dann under pressure, doesn't have time to pick his pass, and we go score. What I'm loving is how we're learning to play in the Premier League. Probably a couple more hirings before the end of the season, but we're making improvements.

Bamfords pressing game and running off the ball is second to none. I just wish his first touch was as good and there are times when he does take the first touch instead of putting his foot through the ball. The chance he had right at the end of the first half demonstrates that. Whilst Palace were poor we did not let them settle and they still had enough in that team to trouble us. Eze for Hernandez would be a good signing next season
To be fair, it was the quietest game Eze has had against us, so fair play to us for that. He looks like he's on roller skates when in open space though, great player

Yes it’s easy to say Palace were poor. Like you say we made them look poor by closing them down constantly and passing the ball really well. They just totally nullified any Palace threat. Phillips played a key role in pretty much man marking the front two so they didn’t get room to hold the ball up. Very impressive tactics by Bielsa
If you factor in a few games this season that should have gone the other way for us, we'd be challenging for europa league. If we can add qaulity again in the summer, the right quality (like raphinha) and keep Bielsa there's no reason we can't start to poke our noses and start sniffing round the top 4.
Carried away? Yes, but we should, after 16 years of everything going against we need to believe again.

Didn`t Sky report we have hit the woodwork 13 or 14 times this season? Had they gone in we might be talking of a shot at Europe but I think it is far too early yet for that. Staying up this year has been the aim and it looks nailed on that has been achieved. Let some of the U23`s get game time towards the end of the season strengthen for next season and see where we end up then. Do you reckon we could get 20 million for Roberts, Alioski and Costa and get a decent attacking midfielder or LB?

Palace are a poor team. the loss down there really irked me the most out of all the defeats this season, bar Man U, especially the luck they got that day. felt like karma with the early deflection. should have been more but can't complain and really starting to loo k assured at the back.
if Phillips is injured i hope Bielsa does not move the deck chairs again and put Struijk in that position, he is a CB out and out in this team. i would put Dallas there and bring Shackleton in or maybe rodrigo if fit.

as expecting on the back of his performances it looks like the lazy journalists are touting Raphinha as a top target for the CL clubs. Liverpool today, i'm sure Man utd or Man city in the coming days. TBF he looks every bit a CL level player right now but i do hope we will be digging our heals in and putting a huge price on his head. when you think Maguire went for 80m, Richarlison and Pepe for 50m and Jadon Sancho being quoted at over 100m we should be talking those kinds of figures or tell them to get stuffed.
