This is getting silly now. One Battye has already played a number of excellent games for us, that's why we signed him

Why have we messed up Walker? Walkers only problem is that he isn't anywhere near as good as Jowitt currently is. He can rectify that by being better this year, Walker was always a speculator, he wasn't the finished article whilst at London and now he faces far stronger competition for his place.

He was also a tad unlucky as when you make a big move, especially a distant move, you need all the luck you can get and he didn't get a lot, Trinity performed badly in 2020 even taking Covid and a crippling injury list into account. Few players look good joining a poorly performing team, although Eddie managed it. Walker played ok in the pre-covid games last year but like a number of players he did not perform well on his return, the players as a unit messed that up not the club.

Some fans have a really odd view on the game

Are you eight or nine years old, it's hard to tell.

Just as well Trinity fans don't boo every player who's ever left us for fame and fortune, we'd be knackered after ten minutes. Get over yourself it happens, did Sheffield fans boo him when he played against them, I suspect not, it's called maturity.

Vastman, i for one agree with you, eddie put in some good mtrs for you when he was on loan, and as you say, thats why your lot wanted him to stay.
Walker had some good games for you, but he is still developing, so a couple of mistakes and that was his confidence shot and his performances went downhill, Jowett handled the pressure better.
Think schoey, has your lot for bottom this year, so your probably gonna do well, reckon if he gets a couple of good games under his belt, if he can get in the 17, walker will do ok, he probably needs some time on loan though.
Eddie will become a fans fave trust me, he is a worker.

No, your fans just spit on the opposition supporters as they leave the ground.

I've been going to away games at Wakey for 29 years and never witnessed any spitting. In fact, I've not noticed any sort of unpleasant behaviour from their fans in all of that time.

There was a bit of demolition of seats from a small number of knobheads who came down to watch us stuff Wakefield on our first game back in SL a few seasons back.
Thankfully they didn’t come back when we met again later in the season

Wakefield have an above average number of knuckledraggers following them, that's for sure.

Rfe believe that was dealt with by both clubs.
Listy, no need for those sort of comments, every corner of society has its idiots.
