Thought I would see how Harrison went today and in the first half he had the ball 17 times found the man 4 times most within 10 foot, gave away a free kick and failed to find the man on 12 occasions.
We seem to concede most goals at the far post from set pieces.
Isn`t that where the LB should be defending?
Bamfords first touch for a CF is p$ss poor, Klich not at the races either and no idea what Costa and Roberts offer.
Other than that plenty of chances created but unlucky not to convert them.
Really good game that and we deserved something from it. We don’t quite have the quality though in a couple of areas and lacking in good options off the bench. A better left winger in the Raphinha mold and we’d have won imo. I like Harrison but he’s too erratic. Costa offers us nothing off the bench and Robert’s lacks quality with his final ball and finishing. Thought Pablo was poor when he came on, lost the ball numerous times.
It’s clear where need investment next year. Overall happy with the performance and fancy us to beat Palace Monday. Pitch was marginally better but still not great. Far too many players slipping over
