I haven't seen anyone excusing him for it, of course he has made all the wrong choices, no one disputes that, things aren't always black and white.

Correct, people should not make averse comments about anyone who falls into the murky world of drugs without knowing the circumstances of how or why it has happen to the person.

Especially, when it is estimated that 20% or so of the people in our country are taking some form of illegal drugs.

His problem was more to do with alcohol which was not helped by three players (one of whom is in the hall of fame) taking him into the Royal Oak after training and getting him drunk all the time.
