He was already leaving the Tigers before start of September as they were trying to get rid and no NRL clubs were interested (despite Mags saying later he was part of the team for '21), wouldn't surprise me if he was already applying for a visa long before the club officially announced things.

A yet unnamed SL club has signed Ben Jones Bishop. I'd be surprised if it wasn't us.
