I think the top six will be tight this year We should be in the 3rd spot ahead of Warrington but we have a distinct lack of pace in the backs and that could cost us. Like you Saints and Wigan fighting for the top position but this time with Wigan at the top
Saints- Will be even better with signings Wigan- Again good signings Huddersfield- Look to have a good squad, do look light up front Hull- Hopefully some improvement on last season Wire- Think a poor start will see price under huge pressure Leeds- Maybe higher if Gale stays fit, again light up front Cas- Evalds is a good signing not sure on their pack Cats- Too unpredictable Wakefield- Steady season Salford- Could struggle without Watson Rovers- Will improve Leigh- Will struggle given short notice
Rovers, Salford, Wakey and Cas will tussle so swap around in those places, agree, Leigh are not going to challenge many, simply allowed in to make up the numbers. Us, Cats, Leeds, Wire and Huds will probably swap around in those places too. Can't see much past Wigan and Saints for a GF, BUT, there is a 13th 'team', our friend Covid, who may have a bigger say on the season than anything on the pitch.
Top 6 could be really tight as mentioned, aside from Leigh I don't think there's going to be a huge amount of difference between the sides at the lower end either. Expect upsets, controversy and if things go our way hopefully good wins against the usual contenders and fewer losses against teams that we'd hope to be beating given our squad.
I'm going to be bold and predict us to be second but as always need a bit of luck, shame no-one will be getting to watch games live.
