Being in the premiership obviously suits our style, as we don't often see teams throw 11 behind the ball
I think the squad is growing in quality all the time the longer they’re with Bielsa.

Really good performance last night even though Albion were poor we played one of our better games this season. Thought Struijk did well again I have been impressed with him from last season. Hernandez needs more game time to sharpen up and Costa I think failed to beat his man on 3 occasions and lost the ball twice in his 15 minute spell. Harrison was much better and so was Klich compared to their previous games. Messlier again is rocks and diamonds and worries me to death sometimes but overall did well.
Forget how young Messlier is. He’s always going to have his moments with being only 20. He’s literally learning on the job. Agree both Harrison and Klich were much improved and they needed to be. Was nice to watch us play on a good pitch and I’m glad we’re away again at the weekend

Absolutely re Messlier. He has all the makings of a good keeper for years to come and I`m glad we are sticking with him. Not sure who are goalkeeping coach is but a good one would certainly help him develop quicker. Maybe Robinson or Green both with Leeds links could help?

spurs is an awful fixture for us any day of the week, their style and the way they hit on the counter with Son and Kane we play into their hands.
9 points from 12 over the christmas period is brilliant so we go there full of confidence and with no pressure. get this game out the way hopefully and avoid a fixture pile up that some teams are going to get now.
Disappointing result, but still lots of positive aspects about our performance. Usually, the difference between very good players and world class players is they take chances and punish mistakes, and that's what the top teams have done against us.
Hopefully, a few can have a rest in the cup next week, and Cooper and Llorente will be fit for next league game. Although, I'd still play Struijk at left centre half even if Cooper is fit.
