https://www.totalrl.com/ben-jones-bisho ... wakefield/ Russell is at Leigh now (I think).
Last I heard of Naughton he was playing for some NSW Cup team or lower. Hes an aussie resident now too so I guess he's pretty settled over there.
Curtis' family were out there including his partner when he was with us and that was the reason he left the club with a year left on his contract.

Have the visa rules been relaxed regarding Australian/Kiwi players, who have been convicted of criminal offences, enabling them to work over here. Just thinking of our difficulties trying to sign the likes of Crocker, and the expensive business of trying to secure Rangi. Some clubs seem able to overcome these issues.

Well we could go back to Ben Barbor, but Leeds new recruit has had issues.

Ah OK. I think with Crocker it was 10 years to elapse before conviction was spent or something. Looks like Tetevano's sentence was overturned, maybe something to do with it?

Not to bothered about individual cases, but it seemed we had trouble with visas, which seemed at the time impossible for us to overcome, yet in the Chase deal for example, we tried everything, yet failed, “ thankfully”
It just seems easier to employ players now, regardless of past troubles, than it was.
