Now we all know that expectations at Wigan are high. I am pretty sure that despite his success Shaun Wane moved on / was moved on because of the style of play. It brought trophies, but there was always grumblings on here and Warriors Fans forum about the style of play.
Do we want to win trophies? Do we want to see stylish attacking rugby week in / week out or do we want both? I personally believe that we are a prop forward away from being very close to winning in style. We certainly have the backs to give us some flair, but i am of the opinion that the props are the unsung heroes. They dont get on top, and its rare to win the games, and certainly not with style. We wont be far off this coming season, and i agree that there needs to be at least one of the 2 major trophies for it to be considered successful. i am personally in the camp of the shield should be worth more than it currently is, as it reflects a season of consistency, but also appreciate thats where the game is at, so its all about winning the GF
Totally agree. I think that 1 extra prop could give us the platform for our backs to really express themselves and play some exciting rugby.
