Absolutely not. For a young man he spends far too much time out injured.

Unfortunately not due to his injury record and concerns regarding concussion injuries.
Ward was a very good player but unfortunately the number of injuries he’s had and at a young age have taken their toll on him and that’s before the concussion issues.

Thats the reason Leeds have released him and as has been said sadly I think he will end up retiring due the affects of his injuries and concussions.

For me, Stevie Ward is the kind of person who I think we need to work on the governance of the game (along with people like Jon Wilkin). People may not necessarily like them, but they are well spoken, competent people who see the shortfalls in the game and have that experience of what is needed to expand and grow the game, and get it back to being a fantastic spectacle
