If the move to PL was part of the SL Bid, then surely we would have made sure it was a done deal before including it?? If its not a done deal, does that mean we have a back up plan in place?? What would have happened had we won promotion, then Wimbledon said "no thanks lads". Stay at Ealing, that would surely have made our submission invalid??
Reports are saying that the move was reliant on us getting into SL. If this is the news ML was talking about, he said it was happening irrespective of whether our bid was successful.
Coming from Essex I suspect Ealing is far easier travel wise. Does anyone have a feel for what car parking options are like in the Plough Lane area? It looks like a two hour journey each way by public transport (similar to Ealing for me, although Cross Rail would shave a few minutes off that) - Ealing is quicker than that by road for us (three season ticket holders)

I would venture very little & none on site i would think. Quite close to St Georges Hospital & Lambeth crematorium (not that those two should be linked ) The good Borough of Wandsworth don't like parking much.
Northern line to Tooting Broadway & either walk or the rarely spotted bus 493. Alternatively mainline train or tube to Wimbledon & walk or bus 156 will take you half way there.

Seems we have made an offer but quite rightly Wimbledon are consulting Dons Trust on it. I suspect the bid explained the situation as it is. Maybe reports are wrong and ML is right.
The ‘temperature test’ survey of Wimbledon fans is currently showing 78-79% in favour of London Broncos sharing Plough Lane.
The chief exec says Broncos are “chomping at the bit” to move in. Says LB see it as an opportunity to grow and become a big force in rugby league. Says LB expects crowds of 3–3.5k at first (didn't say if that's Champ or SL). They would move in in 2021 if poss.
Wouldn't just be rent paid, but other elements of revenue sharing.
The chief exec of AFCW is very keen as even the worst case scenario forecasts for Broncos crowds still make financial sense. Says there are opportunities to share sponsors that target both audiences.
Three hoops to jump through before it’s a done deal: 1. approval from fans in a formal vote, 2. agreement from Galliard Homes (who are building the flats next door) and 3. planning permission from the London Borough of Merton.
