Its pretty slim pickings with us having no quota spaces left.
Luis Johnson might be worth a punt, can cover the middle but played his junior rugby in the back row. Navarette is on the outer at Wigan, he started in the 2019 GF.
Still hopeful we can get one of Hudds outside backs in a swap deal with Jones. The only other outside back I've seen made available is Hankinson
Eddie Battye as the middle. M62 name and an old fashioned physique.
In all seriousness I think he would be a shrewd signing and good enough to start in the 17.

It’s seems quiet on the Jones front in terms of any deal with Huddersfield or anyone in general which is surprising. Thought he’d have been a big signing for Huddersfield by now with Watson going in there or Wire as a replacement for BMM. Hope the club get something back in terms of a fee when he does go. Maybe clubs can’t afford or are prepared to take on his wage and he isn’t prepared to take a cut, who knows. Covid or not his attitude to the club and team has been disappointing and certainly doesn’t fit with the environment the BH wants. He’ll certainly be a player well remember by the faithful but for the wrong reasons.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Huddersfield didn’t rush announcing Watson, and it’s probably the same method with their predicted capture of Josh Jones, with Ken Davy, they have an owner with wealth, and seemingly now he’s prepared to back Huddersfield with signings. He seems more determined than ever.
Hull fans are hungry for any inclination of news and signings, our forum, and Facebook are full of rumours and gossip, yet the Huddersfield forum, no disrespect intended, is almost lifeless in such exciting times for them.
Josh unless he’s done a u turn, will be announced in a blaze of mediocrity,

Aaron Bower has said he's signed, he's usually on the nose. Maybe they need to generate some cap space. Matagi and Turner have joined Cas, they're trying to offload Gavet too.

Great summing up of the difference between the fan bases!

Yeh as many people within the game said privately at the time, considering his ultimate NRL ambitions, which he hasn't made a secret, Huddersfield is probably a lot less of a risk for Watson, pressure wise, compared with us, .
