I'd also like to see that. Feel like Griffin could play both those positions to a good standard, and I agree with you about needing more pace in the centres.

Would cert think of switching Griffin to second row. Swift if fit might be the pace we need. Think the num 6 we hopefully sign would give us some pace.

I hope we dont just allow Jones to leave. Either a transfer fee for him or player swap. Watson has shown he is willing to part with players (turner and matagi) if he wants jones bad enough, maybe we could get a player or 2 in return?

I agree.
It’s a shame it didn’t work out for us and Josh Jones. As someone said earlier, some deals work out and others don’t.
Easy to say he should have moved to the Hull area, however none of us will know the full story and Covid may have played a factor too.

I think we should still demand a fee from Huddersfield, as he’s still within contract or push for a player, if Brett wants one of their squad.

Covid didn't really become an issue over here until the season was well underway. If he was truly committed he'd have already moved over this way by then. When you remember we're not the 1st club he's pulled this stunt with it'd suggest that it's Josh himself that's the problem. Now he'll always be remembered as a massive disappointment & I hope when fans are allowed back into grounds they let him know as much.

I’d stick him him on loan at Donnie for a year, see how he likes them apples, can’t settle my backside, we’re too soft in these situations,

Remember what Wigan did with Tag.

If you demand you might be left with a player who does not want to be with you. Have to pay his wages and limit Hodgson’s options re new signings. These situation require a bit of give and take.

Agree 100%. In any team sport having a player that doesn’t want to be there creates a problem, not just in games but brings down the quality of training as well.

Move him on, sign better.

Personally would rather keep Griff at centre, think he's great there. Swift feels like a bit of a free signing. Having lost Shaul, Kelly and Ratu our backs look really short of pace, needs addressing.

Josh Hasn't settled or integrated and hasn't mixed and if he doesn't want to play for us then good luck to him. However, for me personally I think that as the Huddersfield owner was telling everyone that their new Coach has some money at his disposal to spend I'd want a fee. Times are hard and this is a business we are talking about here, we have spent a fair bit on injury rehab, Covid rehab, scans testing travel expenses etc on this player, for very little return on the field (through at times I agree no fault of the player) and we are a bit soft sometimes in these situations.
