What eventually happened? :-)

He popped up again a month or two back under his 'bear' pseudonym trying to stir again but has gone quiet since. IIRC pestegg was outed on the park avenue forums as he was trying to stir on their too.

I'm not saying for one moment that we can or should be spending the sort of money that Leigh an Toulouse are doing. Murray who has just signed for Halifax would have been in our budget and a great addition to our squad. Also I have read that most clubs have applied for the government loan not just us.

The one thing that I would say is that we can’t force player’s to come to the club if the genuinely want to go elsewhere this may very well be the case with Murray... I get the idea that we still have a player or 2 to announce yet let’s just see

Doesn't the fact that we missed out on Murray to Halifax, and then signed Fleming as the cast off, show that we are very building much for the Championship

This doesn't exactly scream 'Put us in Super League, we are ready...'

Bog standard Championship prop. At the most adds "another body" to the squad. Murray would've been a far better signing. Obviously Fax must be chuffed to bits.

Missed out on Murray did we? I didn’t think we were ever in for him?
