I have 100% hope for my loved ones and fellow human beings. Myself and family members have been seriously ill. Doctors aren't registering COVID-19 (if it exists) to a flu/cold/pneumonia patient, but for a human that passes away through cancer/heart/liver etc will die WITH COVID-19 and therefore keep most the world locked down. Handle that how you wish.

Just scanning the news today I think we all need to get real that next season is not likely to now happen in 21. We are probably further off a restart than we were 3 months ago. The key is still a viable vaccine is needed to change the world back to the old normal

That's funny 'cos most of the News sites I've seen today say the vaccine may be rolled out next month.

Even if one is (although I suspect it's just newspaper talk) there's been barely been enough time to know that it would actually work and even if it does for how long immunity is conferred. A (what would be emergency approval) roll out in the next few months would be nothing more than a desperate throw of the dice in the hope that it comes up trumps!

Can not see a working vaccine any time soon

Well at last there is a chink of light appearing today to escape the covid nightmare.i couldnt see any without a vaccine .

My thought process has always been survival through the pandemic. If we can get through it we will do just fine once Covid goes away! Looking forward to sitting my bum down at the shay again! Missed it
