The money point of view is interesting. We’ve learnt our lesson and seem to be lean (in expenditure terms). At the moment we’re getting to spend approximately £500k on players off £300k of tv money. Now then, obviously costs go up when you go to full time but you would hope the number of spectators would go up as well. Any increase in central funding could go directly on the squad.
Point 2 - it’s all about the money, stupid.
I think more SL chairmen are beginning to realise they need our away fans bringing money to their clubs. That’ll be a point in our favour as well.

I always thought Toulouse should have been there before Catalan in the first place. They seemed to have big businesses on board and the transport links a more straight forward than they are to Perpignan. I think they can still scale quickly and there's a modest chance two top flight clubs might actually move their national team on from the joke they are now.

Unsurprisingly we're applying for the 12th spot. Social media should be fun with Gledhill and his SL sources saying they definitely want Bradford in SL.
This is why I never ever want licensing to return. Should he decided on the field where no one can argue.

I agree with your last comment that is should of been decided on the field but championship sides was reluctant to come out of furlough and unstandably why, but lets get a few thinks clear if it is both us and salford who are both on the lowest budgets that have been metioned they will of predicted spendage on the next season and taken that into account, while I'm not dispusting gledhill comment he's hardly got great feedback on here over the last few years, can I also just cast your mind back to when we entered super league we recieved nothing yes zilch so when you make comments about old school boys it does look rather silly.
anyway I wish all the best on the appliction but my thoughts of you returning to odsal would be the end of a great club it will bring you down again but it would be great to get old rivalries back

In 2 years I think we will be ready to have a good crack at getting into SL. Never know, if things fall into place this year, we might even earn it on the field which is how it should be. There's not a Toronto, no one coming down and just one good team going up.
Toulouse or London for me. York can be an outstanding SL team, but like us probably best just continuing to build and be ready in a couple of years. Let's not forget they played 3 lost 3 earlier this year.
I agree re Toulouse. That would be fair. BUT I think the other 'big' clubs need the crowds that the Bulls will inevitably bring. Can't wait to see Bulls v Whinos at VP with half a dozen decent loanees from said clubs ?

Just regarding Gledhill and his sources, my tongue was firmly in cheek. Most of us on here know 99%. Of what he says is made up or at the very least exaggerated.

I can see us invited here. Good away following and a squad on paper at current far weaker than say Leigh or Toulouse so even with a few additions from out of work Wolfpack players will be the proverbial lambs to the slaughter. Win win for some of the ‘lesser’ SL clubs, travelling away fans and a team that should finish below you and get relegated buying them another year of SL survival!
