Unless we have quite a few quality players lined up I think it would be pointless for us tbh. We have lost or are losing (apparently) Butler, Fozard, Norman, Pellisier, Armitage, Smith and OAB. We have signed 5 youngsters from the academy. I thought our squad was short last season, as it stands now, without signings I think we would be in a relegation battle in the champ!!! (that is not a dig at the club, but to stand a chance in the champ we would need 6/7 decent signings, SL I fear we would get mullered). **
** I know we put up a good fight last time but the squad then was far superior to what we have now (IMHO)

Got to agree with you there HT.....Nowhere near a squad good enough to be anywhere near the top spots in the Championship and I dread to think of the drubbings we would take if we were to be granted a SL spot...Hughesy would have to give Danny boy an open cheque book ....
You can take the boy out of the Bush...But you can,t take the Bush out of the boy!!!
I would have to agree that with the current squad, we are unlikely to be competitive, if we were dropped into Super League. I myself would give it to Toulouse Olympique. If not, it explodes the myth that SL is keen on expansion. No doubt the powers that be will end up giving it to Fev or Leigh.
Have to agree that Toulouse are probably best placed club at the moment. They have built slow and steady. They seem financially stable. Decent stadium and can only help improve the game down in a Rugby League rich area of France

Have Toulouse already been given the nod, they already had a promotional video minutes after the announcement pressing their case on social media? Will we be COVID Free in time for 2021 season? if Saints this week refused to travel to Catalan (thought Warrington were given walk over points over Salford for the same?)
Interesting that we had nothing to say from the club after the announcement?

Yeah but probably because in his heart of hearts he knows it isn't going to happen. And he won't have to fund it.
If only he had funded a proper replacement for Sammut. We wouldn't be having to creep back into SL via a back door.
