Look at the stats, 2 assists, compare him to the likes of Coote, Ratchford etc, he doesn't do what a modern FB needs too.

This season is has looked a bit dodgy under the high ball and was lucky in the 2and half when he let the ball bounce near the line.

Would another coach improve him, I doubt it, he is 28 now and hasnt improved his link up play. I just hope a new coach can see we wont challenge again with these pivots.

At last someone else who can see the limitations of Sneyd.
His kicking from hand last night was poor once again .
He is another whose style slows down our attack.he moves forward with the ball, stops, moves backwards then passes

I'm not getting the Connor hate.
As someone said he pretty much sets up a large percentage of our try's, he's busy in defence I saw him putting hits on Kenny Edwards all night, his quick passing out wide creates try's, I sometimes wish he d stop the no look pass but he plays on the edge.

If anything were guilty of not using him properly, he's brilliant when he chimes into the line at will from deep

Thought that it had been posted on here previously that Kelly was leaving Hull FC at the conclusion of the 2020 season on expiration of his contract or was it just speculation?

Also any decision pending for Shaul, Houghton, Ellis and others who have no contracts for 2021? Connor is contracted until end of 2021.

Lazy? What is this based on, I also dont think he has a bad attitude (unless you no different, maybe seen him at training?) He wants to win and has passion, sometimes that might look like a bad attitude, but if others had the same passion as Jake, we would be a lot better.

I'll give you speed, but he isnt slow, he makes breaks and as long we back him up we score.

Passing is miles better than Shaul and Sneyd, ok he makes the odd bad pass, but that's trying to create something. Without him over the last few weeks, we would have won more games.

I really don't get the lazy comment.

There is a place for Sneyd as long as you have either a ball playing FB or a really dominant pack.

He is a scapegoat mate, been moved around all over place and never given a run in a position, but is always crìtised whilst others dont get any. People dont watch him and see what he offers, they just want him to do the magical things.

I have said for 18 months at least that you cannot accommodate Sneyd and Shaul together as 2 of your 3 pivots. Neither can pass or put people in to gaps. When one of our wingers gets his first try for 14 months (despite playing a large number of games) you have to question your pivots as to why our wingers do not get the ball! Sneyd is more important in terms of his goal kicking, game management and perhaps organisation, than Shaul.

Shaul's positioning is pretty poor - look at the Gaskell kick downfield which Shaul had to chase back for to put it out for a drop out - they scored off the subsequent set. He was in our defensive line at the play the ball - why??

He also let the ball bounce twice, these use to be his strengths, but has been poor this year. He is a good broken field runner.

Seem to remember we also beat Cas with the slowest backs in SL. :)

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?
