Shaul was terrible, plays like a headless chicken, play just stops when it gets to him, doesn't look safe under the high ball. Put a good fullback in and we win easily. Our attack will always struggle with two pivots who cant pass.

Good arm wrestle of a watch that
Thought they all played well, a few inconsistencys With some, sneyds kicking wasn't great but ran with the ball well, shaul with a couple of misreads, but made a great break and some good yards. Thought Cator was solid, Satae making easy yards as usual and Sao dogged.
Not really going to moan about much lol Last deserves some credit for that.

Just goes to show how we see things differently, thought he looked dangerous every time he got the ball, made lots of yards and looked safe at the back, for me hes still our best FB,

Another entertaining game. Great effort rewarded with a win. Think Last has turned the team around and must surely now be given a chance to show what he can achieve next season?

He makes yards at times and will break the line when the opposition are on the back foot, however once we are in their 20, his weaknesses become apparent, with the position we had yesterday we should have won easier, we wont be a top side with Sneyd at 7 and Shaul at FB, neither are creative enough, we can have one of those and for me Sneyd is more important. Look at the stats, 2 assists, compare him to the likes of Coote, Ratchford etc, he doesn't do what a modern FB needs too.
This season is has looked a bit dodgy under the high ball and was lucky in the 2and half when he let the ball bounce near the line.
Would another coach improve him, I doubt it, he is 28 now and hasnt improved his link up play. I just hope a new coach can see we wont challenge again with these pivots.

On a more positive note, I thought our forwards were excellent last night, Griffin (English try apart) was the MOTM, Cator is such a workhorse.
Been encouraged by the improvements and efforts in the team each week under tough circumstances.
However I still feed we need a new coach, someone with a fresh approach who can sort out our attack in the 20 and goal line defence. I'd like to see Last kept on in some capacity, as I feel there is a good coach there, but not right now and with these players.
