Any players banned this week from all those gruelling fixtures.

Quote:Elliot Minchella (Hull KR) – Grade B Dangerous Throw – 1 Match Penalty Notice
Andre Savelio (Hull FC) – Grade B Use of Knees – 1 Match Penalty Notice
James Graham (St Helens) – Grade A Dangerous Contact – 0 Match Penalty Notice
Jonny Lomax (St Helens) – Grade A Dangerous Throw – 0 Match Penalty Notice
Tyrone McCarthy (Salford) – Grade A Dangerous Contact – 0 Match Penalty Notice
Sam Moa (Catalans) - Grade A Dangerous Contact - 0 Match Penalty Notice

The following players were handed cautions:

Bodene Thompson (Leeds) – Dangerous Contact
Ava Seumanufagai (Leeds) – Dangerous Contact
Sam Moa (Catalans) - Dangerous Contact

Cas managed 7 "no charges".

Savelio's charge based on Shenton diving in for his try.

Not sure what Savelio could have done different in the split second he had to decide, but I'm biased.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Interesting points on the Commentary........

To me both are truly awful with the BBC much worse than the already poor Sky. i am Absolutely sick of explaining the rules to neutrals , then a major reffing error is made, commentary doesn't pick it up !!!!!!

Current gang commentate like fans NOT neutrals - always sounds like they want us to lose.

NRL commentary enhances the whole spectacle/experience - even with no/few fans. Rather than viewing Toronto as the biggest issue in town we need to sort this & quick - this is why we aren't valued as a national sport, affects sponsorship etc.

There must be professional commentators, with personality around ? by all means let some of the 'pundits' have a say but they are in it way too much.

We talked about following the NRL model - so why no Captains Challenge ? Our bunker is a pale imitation of the NRL - I know funding is an issue but these issues & better reffing ought to be fundamental to growing our game.

I laughed out loud at a recent bunnies commentary - 'they're everywhere the bunnies, its like they're breeding, they are known for that' . Wit, humour & a willingless to be impartial & honest should be mandatory.

Good to see both Mahe & Jake have better games last week. Both reigned it in a bit, stopped forcing every play & generally showed more patience. With Mahe especially it looked like a 'Back to basics' reset - nice to see a change of approach, credit to coaching staff - we are undoubtedly seeing some improvements in some of the players.

I think with Fonua he is under pressure to do something special every play, from fans expectations of him due to his first spell. He was much better against Cas. Played with patience, and then the opportunity to offload came on one of his tackle busts, so he tried the offload and the support runner should have caught it

Good news, fingers crossed Andre can carry on his good form and fitness, we could have one good player on our hands.
