True but I do think we need a bit of experience in midfield and like Trebor has said Barkley would have been a good fit.

I thought the domestic deadline was for transferring out of PL clubs to Championship etc. I don't think PL clubs can sign players, though I may be wrong.

I’m hoping for a good showing on a Saturday, not expecting a win. Unlike Liverpool whose only weapon is speed, City have technically gifted players like De Bruyne and Foden. Their weakness is obviously defence but can’t see them not bouncing back after last weekend.

i would be more than happy with just one more quality midfielder. Not overly sold on Cantwell and seen Man utd will be wanting 25 million for James and we are still linked there but at that price surely not, 14 million tops for him imo.

we may well not get anyone else now after a week has been spent on a targeted player falling through at the very last hurdle. more than likely if we do it will be a left field player not spoken about yet really and will all happen very quickly sunday/monday as it has with many of the transfers so far.
