From a sartorial point of view Clalrke won hands down. Who the hell dresses him. Blind Pugh?

I thought everyone had a high turtle neck sweater / double breasted waistcoat combo in their wardrobe?

Again sneyd stepped up to the mark. Thought he was MOM for us. Would make him or Taylor capt for next year.

I thought we played well in patches. Goal line defence still a massive issue for us. Connor showed tonight why he is a full back or a centre. I would play him out of full back for the rest of the season, McNamara at 6 until Kelly is fit and see how we go. Shaul can move to the wing, and the more I think of that, the more I am convinced he would do well there. We have seen opportunities this year where our centres make breaks but they are quicker than our wingers so we cannot finish. Or, the winger could go in at the corner if he had more speed, but they don't, so they step back inside. He is decent in the air to defuse cross field kicks and he would be nippy on a yardage set coming off our own line when the backs scoot from acting half.

Really loving Cator, great energy and competitiveness. Satae looking the real deal now and hope he stays fit until the end of the season. Sao I have liked from day 1 - got that bit of intimidation about him, always difficult to tackle and great work rate. A word too for JJ, thought he looked really good out of 9 today, good speed of pass in both directions which we havent seen from our hookers in recent years. I do think the full 80 is a little bit beyond him in terms of his contribution at the moment, so I think him and Houghton would be a good combo until the end of the year.

Joe Cator (61) & Jordan Johnstone (51) made 112 tackles between them. Some effort.

Fair play to Cator
He’s played himself into the 17 and will be very difficult to shift now.

I still think Shaul would make a really good 9 and now the rules have changed his running from dummy half would be exciting to watch,
I have always said Satae should be playing more minutes and its paying off.
He should be scoring tries like that every week like Walmsley does at Saints

Always thought Shaul would make a decent winger.
Got pace, good under the high ball, could bring play out of backfield.

Leave Connor at full back and be another pivot. Would give us loads more attacking options.
