City were very poor at the back. all over the shop to be honest so hopefully we go at them no fear next week like Liverpool and see what happens, could be a few penalties there for us, anything from that is a huge bonus.
i still feel we need another quality player in the middle of the park to assist Phillips. a fair few times last couple of games when we lose the ball we look swamped and need to find a way of grasping some control there. better teams will seriously punish us down the line.
there were a lot of positives though. Meslier superb, hard to believe he is only 20 so confident. Koch looks to be settling now, and i also thought Rodrigo looked comfortable for the first time today he will click into gear soon enough.
Agree Biff but I’m not sure how we give more protection to the defenders and get more control there without changing formation and he doesn’t like doing that too often. Be interesting v City to see if he puts someone in with Kalv
On the transfer front we’re in advanced talks with Bayern Munich over Michael Cuisance according to several news sources including l’euippe who are usually bang on the money. RDP played full 90 today which doesn’t look positive from a deal perspective
I the RDP deal is dead, they want £40m, and there's no way we'll pay that. I doubt we'll get Cuisance, he's one of the best young players in the world, and will probably get a lot of game time for Byern this season. I hope I'm wrong though. Todd Cantwell from Norwich is the latest name to be linked for £15m. He scored 6 in 37 PL games last season, which isn't bad considering how bad Norwich were.

My mate Harrison much much better than last week. Agree on Koch and Meslier and I would add Dallas to the mix as stand outs. Costa poor with Poveda providing more threat when he came on. Cantwell would be a good squad filler but we do need a class midfielder in the Hernandez style.
Actually, the Cuisance rumours look pretty legit. This would be an absolute bargain if we got him for less than £20m. I've watched a bit of his highlights, and the kid is like a young Zidane. Him and Cantwell for less than £40m would be superb business. Sessegon(sp) also being linked with a loan move. Kerk still being heavily linked - £8m
Well we’ve beaten two teams that we needed to beat to give us a little bit of a leg up. Looks like the transfer business is (touch wood) coming along nicely too.
