Agreed. If we can bring in the young Croatian boy wonder at the back too id be well happy. I do still worry about that defensive mid though should Kalv get injured
Well that was a heart stopping game on Saturday. We look uneasy still at the back but hopefully things settle. Rodrigo looks a bit off at the moment but I’m sure he’ll come good. He needs good game time in order to do that so interesting to see what Bielsa does with him.
Left back also a problem for me. Dallas loses the ball with mis placed passes too often and he’s not the best defensively.. i like him as a squad player but we could do better there imo

I'd still be surprised if we saw more than 2 more players come in. A 10 has to be the priority. We have to be patient though, usually we have a 6 or 7 week pre season, with at least half a dozen friendlys to prepare, plus the added disruption of of the international break would have probably meant that the squad have had a dozen training sessions together at the most.

Yes good shout re pre season. That’s a huge factor.
We’ve missed out of Garvidol by the looks of it he’s chosen RB Leipzig (I suspect he will have wanted to play most weeks also). Still no deal sorted on RDP. This is from the top journo in Italy who’s usually bang on the money.

Still don`t get it with Harrison lots of endeavor but very little on delivery. Yes he scored a god goal against Liverpool but loses the ball too often. I would have Douglas at LB and Dallas pushing into the Harrison slot. Bizare substitution taking Rodrigo off and bringing Roberts on. Big concern conceding 7 in 2 and not sure Messlier is the answer although has lots of potential. Some experience needed in midfield and defence.

I thought we looked much better tbh when Roberts came on, he was much better than Rodrigo. I don’t think Bielsa rates Douglas too highly from the looks of it but I prefer him defensively to Dallas
